Respect and Integrity

Notestream is home to a diverse community of producers, artists, and creators. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and professionalism.

  • Communicate respectfully in messages, comments, and reviews.
  • Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, bullying, or personal attacks.
  • Respect differences in musical style, background, and experience level.
  • Provide constructive feedback when engaging with other producers' work.
  • Do not impersonate other users, artists, or brands.

Original Content Only

All content uploaded to Notestream must be original work or properly licensed material that you have the right to distribute and sell.

  • Only upload beats and instrumentals that you have created or co-created.
  • If your work contains samples, ensure you have the appropriate clearance or license.
  • Do not re-upload or resell content purchased from other producers without explicit permission.
  • Properly credit collaborators and co-producers in your upload metadata.
  • Do not upload content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

Fair Collaboration

Notestream encourages collaboration between producers and artists. When working together, maintain transparency and honor your agreements.

  • Clearly define terms, splits, and credits before beginning a collaboration.
  • Honor verbal and written agreements with collaborators.
  • Do not claim sole ownership of jointly created work without consent.
  • Use the platform's built-in collaboration and split tools when available.
  • Resolve disputes privately and professionally before escalating.

No Spam or Manipulation

Maintain the integrity of the platform by avoiding deceptive or manipulative practices.

  • Do not use bots or automated tools to inflate play counts, likes, or followers.
  • Do not send unsolicited bulk messages or promotional spam.
  • Avoid misleading tags, titles, or descriptions designed to game search results.
  • Do not create fake accounts to leave reviews or manipulate rankings.
  • Do not engage in click fraud or artificial engagement schemes.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it so we can take appropriate action.

  • Use the report button on any content, profile, or message to flag violations.
  • Provide as much detail as possible when submitting a report.
  • Do not abuse the reporting system to target users you personally disagree with.
  • Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 48 hours.
  • You may also contact us directly at support@notestream.io for urgent matters.

Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in actions taken against your account, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.

  • First-time minor violations may result in a warning and content removal.
  • Repeated violations will lead to temporary account suspension.
  • Severe violations, including copyright infringement or harassment, may result in permanent account termination.
  • Fraudulent financial activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Notestream reserves the right to take action at its discretion to protect the community.
